The Young Democrats of Clark County have made an excellent choice by endorsing independent candidate Marc Boldt over Democrat Mike Dalesandro for county council chair. I have known Boldt since 1958, from time to time. He is moderate in his deliberations to be as fair as possible. Boldt has outstanding people skills and experience.
I own two properties in deteriorating Old Town Battle Ground. I am upgrading mine, hoping others will follow. However, the city is an impediment. Newly elected Battle Ground City Councilor Dalesandro asked me what was needed to revitalize Old Town, so I told him. However, nothing has changed.
We don’t need anymore of those kind of public servants. Boldt is a clear and far better choice.
