Fire damages home in Vancouver’s Ellsworth Springs neighborhood

Fire damaged a house Friday night in Vancouver’s Ellsworth Springs neighborhood.

The fire was reported about 7:50 p.m. at 307 S.E. 105th Ave. Several callers to 911 reported seeing flames coming out of the front door and spreading to the roof, according to emergency radio traffic.

Vancouver Fire Department crews arriving on scene reported finding fire in the attic of the home. They reported that all occupants had gotten out of the house safely.

The fire was brought under control just before 8:30 p.m.

The cause remains under investigation.
