Sleep Country USA, based in Kent, said Wednesday that its 66 stores will adopt the name of California-based Sleep Train. The combined brand will operate under the Sleep Train banner, and both offices will remain intact, according to a Sleep Country spokeswoman.

Both companies are part of Mattress Firm, a publicly traded company based in Houston. With the addition of stores from Sleep Country USA and conversion of other stores to its banner, Sleep Train will operate more than 270 stores in Oregon, Washington, California and Nevada.

Sleep Train will maintain all Sleep Country USA guarantees and warranties for past and future purchases, Sleep Country said. Its “Foster Kids” program, which supports local nonprofit organizations that aid foster children will continue, the company said.
