Eric Merrill has joined Clark College Foundation’s board of directors. Merrill is vice president of governmental affairs for Waste Connections Inc. of Vancouver, where he is responsible for strategic community partnerships for the Western region.

Simon Spykerman has been named director of the Vancouver marketing team for TigerStop, where he will focus on marketing and information efforts in the digital landscape. With expertise in digital marketing, video and film, he was most recently head of SpykerMedia. Orchards-area TigerStop is a manufacturer of products that help improve the accuracy of lineal cutting processes.

Other business

Xchange Thrift Store and Donation Center has opened a new location at 7904 N.E. Highway 99, at the former site of Bob’s Rentals and Sales. Its former location at 78th Street and Highway 99 opened four years ago. The thrift store is operated by nonprofit Xchange Recovery, which also operates six recovery homes.
