I received my ballot and immediately cast my vote for Mike Dalesandro for county council chair. A reasonable, intelligent voice is much needed in the current council. For far too long, the M&M boys have ruled the county, and this needs to stop. Even worse, if one of the current councilors is elected as chair, there will be only four members and they will hand-pick the interim fifth position. Remember the cronyism that took place when David Madore hired Don Benton, who has no training or experience in the field, to head the county’s Environmental Services Department.
It’s time for some real representation. Reject the slick, colorful Madore fliers. Turn off the expensive television ads for Madore. Vote for Dalesandro.
