CEO FOR ONE MONTH FINALIST

Stephen Edde, of Vancouver and a student at University of Washington, is one of seven national finalists in the CEO for One Month challenge hosted by Adecco Group North America. More than 2,000 students across North America applied for the $10,000 month-long internship. Applicants were judged on academic merit, leadership development, work experience and a video submission.

Renee Valenter of Camas recently received a degree in business and marketing, and was honored with The Frances B. Huston Medallion, Eastern’s most prestigious award. One graduating student from each department is selected annually for the award. To qualify, the students must have a GPA of 3.75 or higher, and demonstrate outstanding leadership at school and in the community.
