Letter: Port leaders fail residents

The Columbian
Published: July 28, 2015, 5:00pm

Now, an administrative law judge has rebuked the Port of Vancouver over CEO Todd Coleman’s highly inappropriate letter sent both to the governor and a decision-maker in the oil terminal proposal process. A July 23 story reported “Judge says port letter to Inslee ‘improper.’ ” Coleman obviously has no proprietary regard for the legal processes he is deeply in bed with and no community conscience, in general. Further, the three port commissioners were each provided a copy of Coleman’s letter and not a negative peep was heard from any them as to the outrageousness of his actions.

The port commissioners should remove Coleman from his position, then, because of their own neglect throughout this entire “terminal” debacle, resign their posts, as well. None of these people retain any credibility to be in the positions they occupy. They represent a continuing danger to our community.
