The Columbian
Published:

Clark County’s Public Works Department is seeking comments on its draft Parks, Recreation and Open Space Plan.

The plan — which is a component of Clark County’s larger Comprehensive Growth Management Plan Update — outlines Clark County’s vision for parks, trails and recreational facilities for the next two decades.

Clark County residents can read the full 206-page report at clark.wa.gov/publicworks, and they are invited to share their comments. Comments must be submitted by Aug. 12, and can be emailed to parks@clark.wa.gov or mailed to Clark County Parks, 4700 N.E. 78th St., Vancouver, WA 98665.

Public hearings on the parks plan have been tentatively scheduled for the Clark County Planning Commission on Aug. 20, and for the Clark County council on Sept. 15.
