BEND, Ore. — Searchers have located a 35-year-old Portland woman who apparently fell and became disoriented while hiking alone in the Three Sisters Wilderness, The Deschutes County sheriff’s office said.

Lt. Bryan Husband said another hiker came across the woman in the area of south Green Lake and called for help Tuesday morning.

Search and rescue volunteers carried her out on a wheeled litter. She was transferred to a hospital in Bend to be evaluated.
