Letter: Public servants applauded

The Columbian

The city of Vancouver replaced my water meter in less than two days after my request. My water pipes stopped rumbling when the sprinkler was running. It’s great to see a governmental department with this high level of customer service. The news has so many stories of slow and incompetent government offices, but our local public works department did well by me.
