CAMAS — The community is invited to see Union High School’s new 180-gallon fish tank during an open house from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday. It is in the 200 building at the high school campus, 6201 N.W. Friberg-Strunk St.

The saltwater tank features more than 10 types of fish from different oceans. High school senior April Fisher has been the project’s driving force, as part of her independent study project. The fish tank is one of two that will be installed at the school; the second will feature live coral. The tanks will be maintained by students in a new marine science class that will be taught at the school.
