The Health Systems Quality Assurance Division of the state Department of Health recently took disciplinary actions or has withdrawn charges against these Clark County health care providers.

In March, the secretary of health ended probation for registered nursing assistant Mayra I. Garcia.

In March, the Medical Commission placed physician Zbigniew M. Grudzien on probation for at least five years. The commission found major areas of concern in Grudzien’s treatment of multiple patients. Concerns include management of cardiac conditions and neuropsychiatric conditions, vitamin and mineral infusions, unjustified laboratory tests, and charting and billing issues. Grudzien has one year to enroll in a clinical skills assessment and education program, or face suspension.
