Registration deadline near for Aug. 4 primary

The deadline is nearing for citizens to register to vote or change their registration in time for Washington’s primary election.

Mail-in voter registrations must be postmarked by July 6. Online registrations can be submitted up to midnight July 6 at clarkvotes.org; click on MyVote.

Changes of address must be submitted by the same deadlines. The Clark County Elections Department will be open until 5 p.m. July 6 to accept address changes made by telephone or in person.

Those who are not currently registered to vote anywhere in Washington may register in person until July 27 at the Clark County Elections Department, 1408 Franklin St., Vancouver.
