Out & about

Vancouver Rodeo, 7 p.m. July 2-3; 1 p.m. July 4-5. The 45th annual rodeo features more than 400 cowboys and cowgirls who will compete in speed and rough stock events, including barrel racing, bull-riding, steer wrestling and saddle-bronc riding. Plus, the ever-popular mutton bustin’ event features riders 8 years and younger trying to ride sheep. Breakfast will be served each morning from 8 to 11 a.m., and a dances will start after the rodeo July 2 and 3.
