Letter: Fixing extremism with kindness

President Obama perhaps believes that this violence overseas, such as the murder of journalists and Jews in Paris and the beheading of Christians in Libya, hasn’t been caused by Islamic extremism at all, but rather because these folks just have such low self-esteem; what they really need are more jobs.

So rumor has it that there’s going to soon be a new federal program to help protect our country and solve this problem. It’s going to be called: “National Adopt a Terrorist Day.” I think if we can all get behind this, we can really make things happen.
