Victory FC announces new season schedule

Amateur soccer team slates eight home matches

Vancouver Victory FC will begin its second season with a preseason match on April 4, and kick off play in the Evergreen Premier League on April 26 at Yakima.

The men’s amateur soccer team has three preseason matches scheduled, including a visit to Oregon State to play the Beavers.

The Victory will play five of their seven EPL home matches at the end of the season.

The preseason starts at 2 p.m. on April 4 at King’s Way Christian School against Marysville Fuerza. The other preseason home game is on April 18 against Premier Development League club Lane United of Eugene, Ore.

The first league home match is May 10 against Bellingham. On June 21, the Victory play the first of five consecutive home matches to conclude the league season.

Seven matches will be played at McKenzie Stadium and one at Doc Harris Stadium in Camas.

Season tickets cost $50. Both season and individual game tickets are on sale through the club’s website, www.vancouvervictoryfc.com.
