Former Vancouver high school standouts Mikhail Doholis and Timur Zhividze are among the first players to commit to the Vancouver Victory FC for the 2015 Evergreen Premier League men’s soccer season.

Doholis, the leading scorer in Union High boys soccer history, is a midfielder who now plays for Oregon State.

Zhividze is an Evergreen graduate who last season had 13 goals and six assists for Portland’s Concordia University.

Also committing to the Victory for this season is Oregon State goalkeeper Nolan Wirth. Wirth is the top goalkeeper for Canada’s under-20 national team and the homegrown property of the Vancouver Whitecaps of Major League Soccer. Other Oregon State players who will spend their summer with the Victory are midfielder/forwards Jamie Velasco and Zach Striar.

Winger Alex Nimo, who had previously been introduced as a Victory assistant coach, will also play for the Victory. Midfielder Josh Noonkester, who plays for Victory coach Aaron Lewis at Corban University, also committed to the Victory.

The Victory play the first of three preseason games on April 4 at King’s Way Christian. The EPL season runs April 26 to July 26.
