The Clark County Commission on Aging will discuss programs and services of the Area Agency on Aging and Disabilities of Southwest Washington at its next meeting.

The meeting, 4:30 to 6 p.m. March 17 in the sixth-floor hearing room of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver, is a chance for the public to share concerns about the needs of local residents.

David Kelly, executive director of the agency, will speak on the group’s mission and purpose and how it connects seniors, adults with disabilities and family caregivers to a full range of community resources.

The commission was created to help the county and cities implement an Aging Readiness Plan with strategies for housing, transportation, recreation, lifestyle choices, support services and civic and social engagement.
