A two-vehicle crash on Highway 503 early Friday sent one man to the hospital for evaluation of injuries.

The crash occurred at 6:39 a.m. at the intersection with Northeast 99th Street. According to the Washington State Patrol, Edvard Golyshevskiy, 20, of Vancouver, was driving a green Mazda southbound when he rear-ended a blue Chevrolet pickup that was stopped for a red light.

Golyshevskiy was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center for evaluation of injuries.

The driver of the pickup, Dondi Bolden, 53, of Cordova, Tenn., was not reported injured.

Troopers said Golyshevskiy will be cited for following too closely.
