BELLINGHAM — A boiler turned into a bomb inside a Bellingham home and the family’s nanny-cam captured the powerful explosion on camera.
The video shows the family room loaded with toys and balls and a deflated kid-size blow-up house.
KOMO-TV reports the nanny-cam video then shows the wall exploding. Debris, nails, dry wall, insulation, and wood goes in every direction. A plume of steam then fills the room.
Homeowner Chris Renoud says they are lucky to be alive after the boiler was ripped from its foundation and launched 15 feet across the room.
