Columbia River at Bonneville

Monday — 38 adult spring chinook, 140 steelhead. Note: Counts in March are done by videotape, resulting in a delay of a few days in the availability of the numbers. Also, Columbia is quite muddy downstream of the mouth of the Cowlitz River.

Year to date — 285 adult spring chinook, 2,289 steelhead. Ten-year average through March 16 is 34 adult spring chinook and 1,125 steelhead. Water temperature is 45.1 degrees. Streamflow is 194,000 cubic feet per second.

Willamette River at Willamette Falls

Monday — 0 adult spring chinook, 90 steelhead. Year-to-date count is 29 adult spring chinook, 2,790 steelhead. Water visibility on Wednesday at the Morrison Bridge in Portland was 1.5 feet.
