Letter: Reverse decision to reduce threat

The Columbian

Lou Brancaccio’s March 14 Press Talk column “Politicians behaving badly,” concerning Port of Vancouver Commissioner Brian Wolfe’s petty attack on waterfront developer Barry Cain, is proof of the stress levels in the Port of Vancouver commission. Brancaccio’s comments are normally strong, but in this case were not strong enough.

Wolfe is an educated lawyer, and his comments were those of a bully, uncalled for and unprofessional. Wolfe should stop doing “stupid stuff” and lead the board out of their decisions which will bring us the “largest oil terminal in America,” and the greatest threat to our community since World War II, without public input. Citizens of Vancouver, keep up the pressure.
