A man attacked a driver with a baton early Friday morning in west Vancouver.
The incident was reported as a robbery at 2:13 a.m. on East Evergreen Boulevard near Reserve Street. A man jumped in front of the moving vehicle and hit the driver on the head and arms through the driver’s-side window, said Vancouver police spokeswoman Kim Kapp.
The victim drove away and was not seriously injured. The attacker was described as a man in his 30s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 280 pounds with scruffy facial hair, wearing a plaid shirt and a dark beanie, Kapp said. Police were not able to find a suspect.
