WSUV presents play on young black men’s lives

Vancouver — The off-Broadway play “Our Young Black Men are Dying and Nobody Seems to Care” will be performed during WSU Vancouver’s spring Marquee Diversity event at 7 p.m. April 1 in the Dengerink Administration Building, Room 110 on campus, 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave.

Reservations are requested for the free, public event. To register, click through the events calendar at vancouver.wsu.edu. Remaining seats will open to unregistered guests at 7 p.m. Free parking will be available beginning at 6:30 p.m. in Orange Lot 1.

Performed by Flow-Theater, the nonconfrontational play is a series of vignettes addressing real issues facing young black men in contemporary American society. The goal of Marquee Diversity is to raise issues of diversity, social justice and multiculturalism in the community.
