Skyview High School will host eight student ambassadors from five African nations Wednesday. Coordinated by the World Affairs Council of Oregon, the visit is part of the U.S. State Department’s Youth Ambassadors Program.

The English-speaking 15- to 18-year-old students hail from Angola, Malawi, Mauritius, Nigeria and Zambia. They were selected for the trip by the U.S. embassies in their countries.

The students and two teachers will tour the school, visit classrooms and eat lunch with Skyview’s Model United Nations students. Student ambassadors also will make presentations about their countries.
