A woman was critically injured this afternoon in a crash north of Daybreak Park near Battle Ground.
The two-car crash was reported at 2:37 p.m. at Northeast 82nd Avenue and 279th Street, an intersection with a two-way stop. An eastbound car ran the stop sign and struck a southbound Jeep, said Clark County sheriff’s Sgt. Fred Neiman.
Firefighters with Clark County Fire & Rescue had to cut the top off of the car to get the driver out, said Battalion Chief Tim Dawdy. The woman was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center with critical injuries, Dawdy said.
The woman driving the Jeep and her infant passenger were not injured, Neiman said.
