Firefighters burn Camas house today for training

People may see smoke from Southeast 20th Street and 192nd Avenue in Camas today as part of training for fire crews.

Firefighters with the Camas-Washougal Fire Department are practicing their skills this morning by setting fire to a house at 1910 S.E. 202nd Ave.

Crews started the training at 8 a.m. today and are continuing the burn throughout the morning. Around noon, the entire house will be allowed to burn to the ground.
