Vancouver’s gasoline prices dropped five cents for the week, to $2.85 per gallon, AAA Oregon/Idaho reported Tuesday in its weekly survey.

Washington’s average price for regular gasoline was $2.78 per gallon, a drop of four cents for the week. That statewide average was the nation’s sixth highest for the fourth consecutive week.

Oregon’s average fell six cents to $2.79, while the national average held steady at $2.42 per gallon, AAA reported.

Warmer temperatures on the West Coast have boosted travel, and the partial shutdown of ExxonMobil’s Los Angeles-area refinery and Tesoro’s Martinez refinery in the San Francisco Bay Area have kept a crimp on supply, AAA said.
