Police seek man who tried to pry into ATM

Police are trying to identify a man who unsuccessfully tried to pry open an ATM cash dispenser in downtown Vancouver before gluing it shut.

On March 16, Vancouver police officers were sent to People’s Community Federal Credit Union, 904 Daniels St., where a man had tried to open an ATM cash dispenser using a screw driver. When he couldn’t open the dispenser, he sealed it shut with Super Glue, police said.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the man who, was wearing a black jacket, gloves, a cap and a green-and-red shirt. He appears to have long hair and auburn facial hair.
