Preston Danberg went 5 for 8 with four runs and and two RBI as King’s Way Christian swept Stevenson in a doubleheader to clinch a share of the Trico League championship.

King’s Way won 12-4 and 13-1.

King’s Way (15-3, 12-2 Trico League) has a one-game lead over Castle Rock with one game to play. As the Knights have two wins over the Rockets this season, they have clinched the No. 1 seed to the district tournament. They can earn the outright league championship with a win at Stevenson on Friday.

Thomas Martin went 3 for 5 with a double, triple and three RBI in the two games.
