Foundation’s annual luncheon set for June 2

The Community Foundation for Southwest Washington will have its annual luncheon and awards ceremony June 2, at the Hilton Vancouver Washington. Tickets are $50 per guest.

Bob and Sharon Lewis will be named the Foundation’s 2015 Philanthropists of the Year; local law office Pabst Holland & Reynolds will get the Friend of the Foundation award; and David and Diane Difford will receive the Lifetime of Giving Award.

The keynote speaker will be Lynda Coates, a trainer with consulting firm Communication Across Barriers, which works to improve opportunities for people in poverty. Coates was born into poverty and homelessness and became the first person in her family to graduate from high school. She went on to earn a master’s degree in communications.
