Letter: Our region not immune to disaster

If anyone thinks that Washington and Oregon will be immune from a devastating rail oil spill, you are either naive or misinformed. The cost of an oil cleanup would be astronomical and I can’t imagine the ecological effect in both the Columbia and Willamette rivers.

Please, no oil terminal in Vancouver.
