The Health Systems Quality Assurance Division of the state Department of Health recently took disciplinary actions or has withdrawn charges against these Clark County health care providers.

In February, the Nursing Assistant Program charged certified nursing assistant Chrystal A. Schreiner with unprofessional conduct. Charges say Schreiner used her position of trust to convince an 85-year-old blind patient to issue two checks to her totaling $4,258, execute a power of attorney despite questions about the patient’s ability to do so, and urged the patient to move in with her and pay rent, which the patient didn’t want to do.
