PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A 7-day-old pygmy-angora goat was returned to its owner just 25 hours after he was reported missing to the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.

The Oregonian reports that the goat, named Harry Truman, was reported missing after owner Maryann Sullivan left his mother Lola, and him alone briefly Saturday afternoon. Harry reappeared Sunday afternoon.

Sullivan says she thinks the media attention made the thieves reevaluate their new charge and return him.

Harry was born May 18, 35 years to the day after Mount Saint Helens blew up. The goat was named after the owner of the Mount St. Helens lodge who refused to leave despite evacuation orders and presumably died in the blast.
