Letter: Further probe could reveal finances

The Columbian

Thanks to reporter Aaron Corvin for his three-piece investigation of the Port of Vancouver and his likely findings of malfeasance and misfeasance of office on the part of the commissioners and port CEO Todd Coleman. Thanks also for the editorial of May 21, “Port officials should resign,” that all four should resign their jobs. I could not agree more.

These people may have otherwise had sterling careers in their pasts, however, recently their collective ecological-community conscience is an astounding nothing. With their resignations, I would also like to see a probe launched into the financial affairs of each. Having witnessed many Tesoro-Savage bought-and-paid-for “shills” testify before the Vancouver City Council, nothing untoward would surprise me. Big money buys big people and big things.
