Local STEM club finishes third in competition

Clark County — The Bubble Knights finished third out of 13 teams in the Scout Class at the 10th annual Marine Advanced Technology Education Pacific Northwest Regional Remotely Operated Vehicle Challenge, held May 9 in Federal Way.

The club had four months to design, build and test their vehicle for underwater missions, and they had to write a 10-page technical document and give a marketing presentation.

The science, technology, engineering and match club is made up of members ages 10-14.
