Three second-half goals lifted the Camas girls soccer team to a 3-0 win over Mountain View on Monday at McKenzie Stadium.

The result eliminated the Thunder from the Class 4A District 4 tournament, and means the Papermakers will play Union at 7 p.m. Tuesday for the district championship.

Tuesday’s winner will host a bi-district playoff match at 2 p.m. Saturday. Tuesday’s loser will travel for a 2 p.m. Saturday bi-district match.

The bi-district opponents will be from the KingCo Conference.

Anyssa DeVera converted a penalty kick to open the scoring after Maddie Kemp was taken down inside the penalty area four minutes into the second half.

An own goal off a Mountain View player made it 2-0. Sarah Davidson finished the scoring with an assist from Hannah Taie.

The regular-season Class 4A Greater St. Helens League champion, Camas improved to 15-1-1 on the season. Mountain View finished 6-8-4.

Union 2, Skyview 1 — Alyssa Mehan’s header in the final seconds of the first 5-minute overtime won it for the Titans, advancing Union to Tuesday’s district title match. Mehan got onto the end of a free kick from Alex Sanders.

A defender, Mehan also scored off a Sanders corner kick in the first half.
