Ridgefield-based Perkins Pacific extends reach to three more states

Ridgefield-based Perkins Pacific, a leading distributor and remanufacturer for Perkins engines, has expanded its territory to include Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico, bringing its total service network to 15 states.

The company, a  subsidiary of Pacific Power Group, also has opened a new full-service location in Oklahoma City to serve its expanded geographic territory. Perkins engines, manufactured in Georgia, have material-handling, agriculture, construction, mining and industrial uses. Perkins Pacific sells, services and remanufactures the engines and provides in-house engineering and 3-D design to its customers.

Perkins Pacific, with five full-service locations across the western United States, has 57 employees in Ridgefield.  Pacific Power Group has a total of 284 employees, including many based in Washington.
