Letter: Polls mislead and dilute the debate

Polls are so misleading and are never accurate so why do we even listen to them? Example: An August survey of a sampling of Clark County residents found that two-thirds of respondents favored the terminal. Guess who did the polling? Tesoro. Oh, really.

Then another poll was done that said the majority of Clark County voters support a oil terminal.

Then reality strikes when we vote. We elect a port commissioner who is not in favor of the proposed oil terminal.

I say please don’t believe these skewed polls that are thought to be representative of Clark County residents. Get out there and let your voice be heard.
