BELLEVUE, Wash. (AP) — The FBI has expanded its search for two missing Bellevue boys to include Canada and Tijuana, Mexico, as well as southwestern states.

KIRO-TV reports that 15-year-old Sage Cook and 9-year-old Isaac Cook have been missing for more than a month. Police believe they are with their biological mother Faye Ku.

The boys were last seen in California at Los Angeles International Airport to have a supervised visit with Ku on Aug. 28.

Legal documents show Ku, who has not had custody of the boys since her divorce from their father in 2009, attempted to leave the country with Sage and Isaac in 2013.
