The Kalama defense held Columbia-White Salmon’s potent rushing game to 55 yards in shutting out the Bruins in the Trico League opener for both teams.

Columbia’s Ulices Isordia, who came into the game averaging 180 yards rushing, was held to 22 yards on 10 carries.

Jasper Pulido rushed for two touchdowns for the Chinooks.
