In recognition of Disability Employment Awareness Month and White Cane Safety Day, the Washington State Department of Services for the Blind is demonstrating assistive techniques and technologies that help people who are blind or have low vision.
The open house is 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday on the second floor of the Washington State School for the Blind, 2214 E. 13th St.
