Letter: Blame always shifts to gun owners

By
Published:

I have concealed weapon permits for Washington and Oregon. I carry them often, but never let anyone know I have a weapon. I would never use it unless absolutely necessary.

It’s sad that some people blame the gun owner — even the ones who obey the laws and do everything correctly.

It’s no different than drunk or reckless drivers. But they never talk about them. It is too bad that some people just don’t understand that.

It’s easier to go after the law-abiding gun owner.

It has got to stop.
