Letter: GOP must heal contentious split

By
Published:

This election cycle has become one of divisive, almost circus-level gamesmanship. I have been privy to the ringside seat at the Clark County Republican Committee meeting wherein they endorsed a campaign rather than a candidate. It is unheard-of, power-grabbing maneuvering, which frankly, is disgusting to behold, completely lacking integrity.

In view of the threats, accusations and use of social media to slander not only a very honorable man but also a good candidate and his supporters, I doubt these rifts will heal soon.

At the end of this debacle, the Republicans must be friends again in spite of their differences.
