Letter: Spotlight may draw more violence

How much of the media attention on violence creates more violence? I’m not blaming the media. Because people kill people, for whatever reason. But when I was growing up there wasn’t as much on the news about killings. But I knew it happened.

And I will state that I’m not a proponent for guns. But killing is killing. And it doesn’t matter if it is for religious reasons or not. Enough is enough. People dying for no reason is unacceptable.
