Mark Morris avoided any drama, took away the possibilities of any tiebreakers, with a victory over Washougal on Friday night.
The Monarchs (3-6, 3-3 2A GSHL) earned the fourth and final berth to the playoffs from the 2A Greater St. Helens League. Mark Morris will play top-ranked Tumwater next week.
Washougal (3-6, 1-5) pulled within 17-7 with a 10-play, 68-yard scoring drive midway through the second quarter. But that was as close as the Panthers got.
