Letter: Only all-county ban will succeed

By
Published:

If the city of Vancouver limits fireworks in any way inside the city limits, they will be shifting larger amounts of noise, fire danger, debris and other disagreeable aspects of fireworks to the people living outside of the city limits, such as Salmon Creek, Felida, Mount Vista, Highland Hills and Battle Ground.

I appeal to the county councilors to also make this ordinance for all Clark County as soon as possible.

I also urge levying a tax on consumers to pay to have the streets swept clean, for the extra duty firefighters must provide, and to providing volunteers to clean up the yards of senior citizens.
