PULLMAN — An early morning fire that Pullman police call suspicious has heavily damaged the Planned Parenthood clinic in that college town.
The Spokesman-Review reports that fire crews responded at 3:30 a.m. Friday and had the fire out by 6:30 a.m.
Pullman police Commander Chris Tennant says the building’s north side was heavily damaged.
Tennant says the fire is considered suspicious because Planned Parenthood is controversial and because it started at 3:30 a.m. in an office building.
