Environmental groups opposed to oil trains will host a walking tour of impacted areas in downtown Vancouver on Saturday, organizers announced.

Participants will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at West Sixth and Esther streets, near Esther Short Park and Vancouver City Hall. The tour, which is expected to last about an hour, will cover a 1-mile stretch of the tracks and adjacent areas, according to organizers. People of all ages may attend, and leashed pets are welcome.

The event is sponsored by the Sierra Club, Columbia Riverkeeper, Friends of the Columbia Gorge, OneAmerica, Climate Action Coalition and Center for Sustainable Economy.
