Clark College Music Department announces choral auditions for the Women’s Choral Ensemble, Concert Choir and Clark College Chorale. Vancouver Symphony Orchestra seeks entries for its annual Young Artists Competition, open to music students 18 years and younger who reside within a 135-mile radius of Vancouver. Students can compete in the categories of piano, strings and brass/woodwinds/percussion, with the top three candidates in each category competing at a live performance for scholarship prizes. Gallery 360 seeks artwork for the November exhibition, “Opposites Attract,” featuring contradictory themes. Artists can submit up to three pieces for jurying. Second Story Gallery seeks artists interested in displaying work during shows scheduled between February 2016 to January 2017. Shows typically consist of 20 to 30 pieces.
